Big Y Partners with Jeff’s Granola to Aid Survivor Journeys™

Survivor Journeys is pleased to announce that Big Y has partnered with Jeff’s Granola to help support its organization.  A portion of the price of every bag of Jeff’s Granola purchased at the Big Y stores in Longmeadow and East Longmeadow as well as Fresh Acre Market in Springfield will aid Survivor Journeys in providing its many support services to cancer survivors, their caregivers, and loved ones.

Jeff’s Granola was founded in 2002 by Jeff Greim, professor and Graduate Director of Nonprofit Studies at Bay Path University who was inspired by Newman’s Own business model in which 100 percent of the after tax profit goes to charity.  What’s different from that business model, however, is that with Jeff’s Granola, the consumer gets to select the charity to which the profit will go!   In addition to being a delicious healthy snack, Jeff’s Granola enables you to contribute to a good cause through your purchase. If you can’t make it to the store and would like to purchase the product online, go to www.Jeffsgranola.com and click on the Survivors Journey button to direct your contribution.

Greim collaborated with a local professional baker and the granola is produced locally.  There are 4 delicious varieties with no preservatives, food coloring, or high fructose corn syrup added:  Jeff’s Crunchy Seeds and Oats/Organic and Gluten Free, is the newest flavor.  Low in sugar, with a light, crunchy taste, it consists of rolled oats, maple syrup, coconut oil, brown sugar, sea salt, quinoa, chia, pumpkin, and ground flax seeds.  There are no nuts or dried fruit in this variety.  Jeff’s Original Granola contains rolled oats, coconut, whole almonds, honey, canola oil, orange juice, apricots, and cranberries.  Jeff’s Original Granola/Organic contains organic rolled oats, coconut, whole almonds, honey canola oil, orange juice, apricots and cranberries.   Jeff’s Original Granola Organic /Gluten Free contains the  same ingredients as the Original Organic Granola except that gluten free rolled oats are substituted for the regular rolled oats.
